Dr. JanakaWijesundara attended theÌýInternational Conference of Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological UniversitiesÌýas a resource participant. This event was an international event participated by academics and professionals from 25 countries around the world and gathered to discuss on the subjects of future cities, architecture and urban sustainability. His presentation theme highlighted on the aspects of future cities, urban architecture and Urban Sustainability in Colombo, Sri Lanka and the role play by the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ. The Conference Proceedings were held from 18thÌýto 21stÌýof October 2023 and the field study tours were organized for the participants on the 22ndÌýand 23rd of October 2023.
Around 200 participants from various levels including academics, Practitioners, Policy Makers, and university representatives were present at the main conference event. This conference was one of the key events organized by Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT) in China.
