Following requests from several departments and holders of four-year Technology degrees, the eligibility criteria for the MSc in Nanotechnology programme have been revised.

Key Update: Applicants holding four-year Technology degrees are now eligible without any post-graduate industrial experience (i.e., industrial experience obtained after the bachelor's degree).

This revision places four-year Engineering, Science, and Technology degrees on equal footing for admission to the programme.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:

  • The Degree of Bachelor of the Science of Engineering of the 成人头条 specializing in a relevant field
  • Any other engineering degree or Bachelor of Science degree of at least four years duration, from a recognized University, in a relevant field as may be approved by the Senate
  • Any other engineering, science or technology degree of at least four years duration, from a recognized University, in a relevant field (no post-graduate industrial experience required under revised criteria)
  • Any other engineering, science or technology degree of at least three years duration, from a recognized University, in a relevant field and a minimum of two years of recognized appropriate experience
  • Any recognized category of membership of a recognized Professional institute, obtained through an academic route, with a minimum of three years of recognized appropriate experience
