Dr. T S G Peiris, Senior Lecturer in Statistics at the Department of MathematicsÌý has been awarded Presidential Awards for Research 2003-2006 by HE the President at a ceremony held on 27th July at 10.30 am at Temple Trees.Ìý This award isÌý Ìýgiven for recognition of authors pursing research in Sri Lankan institution for their publications which have effectively appearedÌý in the Science Criterion Index of 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.Ìý ÌýThis is selected by the National Research Council in Sri Lanka.
