TheÌýMScÌýprogrammeÌýgives individuals and industries theÌýopportunity to develop their expertise in project management.ÌýTheÌýprogrammeÌýis conducted part-time, helping the workingÌýprofessionals to gain further knowledge andÌýqualifiÌýcations.ÌýTeaching is carried out by our well-experienced staff togetherÌýwith academics of other universities and institutions. VisitingÌýlecturers from the industry are sometimes invited to giveÌýtalks on industrial processes and product development. AllÌýlectures, practical sessions, presentations, industrial visits andÌýexaminations will be conducted on Fridays and Saturdays.ÌýThisÌýprogrammeÌýconsists of a combination of compulsoryÌýcore modules, elective modules and a research project.ÌýThe project is only available for studies towardsÌýMSc. ItsÌýmain objective is to provide training in techniques that areÌýessential for research and problem solving in the industry.

Entry Requirements:

A degree of bachelor of science in engineering (specialisedÌýinÌýcivil engineering);

OR

A degree from aÌýrecognisedÌýuniversity with one year of relevantÌýexperience;

OR

A associate membership of aÌýrecognisedÌýprofessionalÌýengineering institute in the relevantÌýfieldÌýand a minimum ofÌýtwo years of experience after obtaining such membership alsoÌýcould be considered;

OR

The acceptability of the professionalÌýqualificationÌýof theÌýcandidate, the recognition of the institute and the relevance ofÌýtheÌýfieldÌýshall be determined by the Faculty and approved byÌýthe Senate.
