Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Charles Darwin University Professor Sharon Bell visited the University of听Moratuwa听on July听4th听2014 and discussed certain areas of mutual importance to both Universities.
The Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Directors (CVCD) introduced in 2006 a scheme of awards called听鈥淐VCD听Excellence Awards鈥 to be awarded once in two years to recognize, appreciate and honor the outstanding contributions and accomplishments in research, innovation and invention by the staff in the University system.
A team composing academics and students of the University of听Wollongong听(UOW) led by Dr. Brad听Stappenbelt听and Dr. Tom Goldfinch met the Vice Chancellor Professor听Ananda听Jayewardane听and the team from the University of听Moratuwa听on July 10, 2014 at the University of听Moratuwa.
