����ͷ��

Dr. Senaka Pilapitiya has been appointed the new Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the ����ͷ��, starting December 31, 2024. He succeeds the founding Dean, Prof. F.R. Fernando, whose visionary leadership set the stage for excellence in medical education; paving the way for a new era of progress and distinction for the faculty.

The ����ͷ�� commenced its official duties for the New Year on January 1, 2025, in alignment with the National Programme "Clean Sri Lanka” launched by the Presidential Secretariat. The event began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and remembering the war heroes who sacrificed their lives for the motherland. Following this the academic, administrative, and non-academic staff of the University took part in reading the “Clean Sri Lanka” pledge by joining the nationally broadcasted ceremony that symbolized the commitment of the University to service excellence in the year ahead.
