The Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Directors (CVCD) awarded former Vice-Chancellor ProfessorÌýMalikRanasingheÌýthe Most Outstanding Senior Researcher Award at itsÌýCVCDÌýExcellence Awards Ceremony held on NovemberÌý30thÌý2012 at the Auditorium of the Sir JohnÌýKotalawelaÌýDefenceÌýUniversity(KDU).
TheÌýCVCDÌýExcellence Awards is held every two years and this is the fourth consecutive occasionÌýorganisedÌýsince 2006, toÌýhonourÌýandÌýrecogniseÌýoutstanding academics working in important areas of research, innovations and inventions in the university system of Sri Lanka.
