The annual recruitment of 2013 ofÌýIETÌýYPÌýChapter of University ofÌýMoratuwaÌýwas held onÌý10thÌýJanuary 2013 at theÌýENTCÌý1 seminar room of Electronics and Telecommunication department of university ofÌýMoratuwa. With an attendance of 126 current and future members the event started at 11.15 a.m. with the traditional lighting of the oil lamp by the chief guest Mr.ÌýShekharÌýSanyalÌý(Director and Country head of Institute of Engineering and Technology, India),ÌýEng. D.R.ÌýPulleperumaÌý(Chairman ofÌýIETÌýSri Lanka Network and International Professional Registration Advisor,ÌýIETÌýSri Lanka),ÌýIETÌýYPÌýChapter of University ofÌýMoratuwa’sÌýpatronsÌýprof. J.Lucas ,Ìýprof. I.ÌýDayawansa, chapter advisor Dr.ÌýRangaÌýRodrigo,ÌýIETÌýYPÌýchairman Mr.ÌýSaliyaÌýSamarawickrama,ÌýIETÌýYPÌýChapter of University ofÌýMoratuwaÌýpresidentÌýAmilaÌýBalasooriyaÌýand a representative from the new members.
