The University ofÌýMoratuwaÌý(UOM) held itsÌý34thÌýconvocation on July 31,Ìý2013atÌýtheÌýBandaranaikeÌýMemorial InternationalÌýConference Hall (BMICH)Ìýand conferred 1096 BachelorÌýDegrees, 356 PostgraduateÌýDiplomas, degrees and otherÌýawards including fourÌýPhDsÌýand fiveÌýMPhils.ÌýThirty students who followedÌýthe MBA in ManagementÌýof Technology (MOT)ÌýprogrammeÌýalso obtained their degrees at this convocation.ÌýThis is the highest number to haveÌýgraduated at any convocation sinceÌýthe inception of thisÌýprogrammeÌýinÌý2001.
