Short Biography
Mr. Charitha Wickramarachchi — a Chemical and Process Engineer by training and an accomplished EHS and Sustainability professional with over seven years of experience spanning some of Sri Lanka's leading manufacturing organizations, including Nestlé Lanka, Ansell Textiles, and most recently Future Fibres Lanka, where he serves as Manager of Environment, Health & Safety and Sustainability.
Charitha holds a BSc in Chemical & Process Engineering from the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ, an MBA with Merit from Cardiff Metropolitan University, and a portfolio of internationally recognized credentials including NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 and 14001 Lead Auditor certifications, and qualifications from the Institution of Fire Engineers — a combination that reflects not just technical mastery, but a deliberate, lifelong commitment to professional growth.
Beyond his impressive credentials, Charitha has demonstrated that a truly sustainable career is built on continuous learning, purpose-driven work, and giving back — values he embodies both in the workplace and in community roles ranging from leading green initiatives to championing workplace wellness.
