The MSc/PGD Program in Sustainable Process Engineering was developed under Norwegian (NOMA project) funding and as a result the program as well as the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ gained multiple benefits such as development of learning environment, upgrading degree programs, student transfer, post-graduate scholarships, foreign training, and many more.
Prof. Rune BakkeÌýwas an instrumental and leading character for all these initiatives. During a recent visit to Norway,ÌýProf. P.G. RathnasiriÌý- Professor at the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ andÌýthe Founding Course Coordinator of the MSc/PGD in Sustainable Process Engineering ProgramÌýcommemorated Prof. Rune Bakke by unveiling a Sculpture of him at Prof. Rune’s University in Norway. This Sculpture of Prof. Rune Bakke was built by one of the Alumni of the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ.
