The Department of Electrical Engineering offers a Part-Time Postgraduate Program leading to Msc/Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical Installations. The courses are conducted over an academic year, mainly on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Those who attain the required standard at the end of this programme may continue towards MSc degree, by undertaking a supervised researh project, normally lasting over one year on part-time basis.

The program covers subject areas required by engineers who are responsible for design and maintenance of electrical installations including industrial, commercial and switchyard standards and practices.
