Dr. DP Chandima has been promoted to the post of Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering (on merit) with effect from 04.07.2019. Prof. Chandima received the B.Sc. (Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the 成人头条, Sri Lanka, and the PhD degree from the University of Saga, Japan. His research interests include Mechatronics and Robotics, Power Electronics and Applications, Electrical Machined and Drives, and Smart Grid Technologies. The Department likes to congratulate Prof. Chandima on his new appointment and wishes him a long, happy, and rewarding career.
