6-Week Online Program for Working Professionals
The Department of Computational Mathematics, Faculty of Information Technology, ͷ, proudly introduces the short-term Training Programme on Artificial Intelligence for Professionals to address the growing demand for Artificial Intelligence (AI) expertise across industries. This programme is designed for professionals from diverse domains who wish to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, generative AI, and trustworthy AI systems. Participants will learn how to conceptualize, design, and implement AI-based solutions for real-world applications, enabling data-driven innovation and informed decision-making within their own professional environments.
Program Objectives
- Equip professionals with a comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence and build the practical competencies required to design, develop, and deploy trustworthy AI solutions within their respective domains.
- Bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of AI solutions by developing a critical appraisal of a broad spectrum of data-driven and knowledge-driven AI techniques, including Machine Learning, Gen AI, LLM Transformer, RAG, and Agentic AI.
- Cultivate critical awareness of concepts in Responsible AI, including ethical, legal, accountability, fairness, and social aspects at large when deploying AI solutions.
Program Outline
- Comprehensive Introduction to AI: Theoretical foundation of AI, evolution of paradigm for construction of AI solution, creative synergy in paradigms, future challenges, singularity, hallucination, trustworthiness, and responsible AI
- Major Paradigm for Building AI Solutions: introduction to concepts in knowledge-driven AI, knowledge engineering, knowledge representation, LLM, and Knowledge graphs; emergence of large datasets and data-driven Machine Learning AI solutions; issues with the major paradigm and their creative synergy
- Machine Learning & Deep Learning: Introduction to concepts in Machine Learning, Regression and Classification Techniques, Clustering Methods, Deep Learning Architectures (CNNs, RNNs – conceptual, and hands-on application development
- LLM and Generative AI: Introduction to concepts in NLP, LLM, Transformer, GenAI, Hallucination, Explainability, Trustworthiness of AI solutions, RAG, Agentic AI, and hands-on application development

Continuous assessment will be conducted online through:
Online quizzes, MCQ examinations, Assignments and mini‑projects
Completion and Certificate
Upon Completing the training program, a certificate will be awarded.
