The IMechE Student Awards 2022 was held on 19th May 2022 at the Engineering Faculty Boardroom of the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ. The event was organised by the IMechE Student Chapter of the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ.
The Dean - Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Nalin Wickramarachchi, the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; Dr. Himan Punchihewa, the Chairman of IMechE Sri Lanka Group; Eng. Lal Weerasinghe and the Young Members’ Chair of IMechE Sri Lanka Group, the Secretary of IMechE South Asia Region and former Counsellor of IMechE Student Chapter of UoM; Dr. JR Gamage honoured the event with their presence. The Counsellor of IMechE Student Chapter of UoM; Dr. Lihil Subasinghe welcomed the guests. The awards were presented by the guests and valuable thoughts were shared by the distinguished guests.
