The Canadian Government has launched ‘The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship Program’ to attract 1,500 scholarship recipients to the Universities in Canada over a period of five years and develop academicÌýprogrammes between the governments of Canada and Sri Lanka.Ìý

The Chancellor of the University,ÌýVidyaJyothiÌýProfessor EmeritusÌýKKYWÌýPerera, presided the Convocation Ceremony. It was attended by theÌýgraduandsÌýwith their parents, distinguished invitees, as well as the academic and administrative staff of the University.
