Department of Civil Engineering successfully conducted a training program on “Project Planning and Control with Microsoft Project” to high-level delegates from the Ministry of Environment of Maldives from 19^th – 30^th June 2022. The set of delegates included Mr. Ahmed Mujthaba, the Minister of State for Environment of Maldives.

The UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Center for South Asia Water Management (UMCSAWM) at ����ͷ�� conducts the International/Regional MSc/PG Diploma in Water Resources Engineering and Management program in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering and South Asia Foundation (SAF). The program admits practising water engineers from the local industry as well as from the South Asian region.

“i2i – Innovation to Industry”, a knowledge sharing webinar organized by Insee Cement was held online via zoom on 31^st��March 2022. The main aim was to establish a connection and create a dialogue between the academics at the University with the relevant industries.

A book donation campaign was carried out by the Civil Engineering Society of the ����ͷ�� under the 2nd phase of "Suhastha" event for the year 2022. A set of district-based representatives across Sri Lanka collected books and other learning material as donations.
