The Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) announced that Professor Malik Ranasinghe of the Department of Civil Engineering, ����ͷ�� has assumed duties as ICTA Chairman and Ms. Vishaka Nanayakkara as Director.

The Conference Proceedings of the International Conference on Road and Airfield Pavement Engineering hosted by the Department of Civil��Engineering were published by Springer in their book series Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering. The book was edited by Dr. H.R. Pasindu, Prof. Wasantha Mampearachchi, Prof. Saman Bandara and Prof. T.F. Fwa.

Department of Civil Engineering successfully conducted a training program on “Project Planning and Control with Microsoft Project” to high-level delegates from the Ministry of Environment of Maldives from 19^th – 30^th June 2022. The set of delegates included Mr. Ahmed Mujthaba, the Minister of State for Environment of Maldives.

The UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Center for South Asia Water Management (UMCSAWM) at ����ͷ�� conducts the International/Regional MSc/PG Diploma in Water Resources Engineering and Management program in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering and South Asia Foundation (SAF). The program admits practising water engineers from the local industry as well as from the South Asian region.
